So, something a little exciting happened the other day. I had a call from Media Worx, who are renowned in the music industry and have produced/directed a variety of music videos for different artists. They asked me to come along and shoot behind the scenes at Saint Mesiah’s latest video production. Media Worx are London based and Saint Mesiah is from Manchester, so for me to get the call, I was excited. This shows that my work is being seen and wanted. The shoot was awesome. the team at Media Worx set the scene perfectly. Plenty of low light, plenty of different coloured lights, with rain and smoke thrown in for effect. As soon as I saw this, I knew I was going to enjoy this shoot. My only concern was that Saint, doesn’t like his face shown (no more eye AF reliance on the trusted Sony). He’s a very private person and wears a mask and fedora hat when performing and asked that I ensure no eyes are visible in any shots. At first, I was a little concerned at how the shots would look, but it only added to the aesthetic and the pictures looked great. Head over to my instagram @jaymostudios to see the results. Please take a minute to check out Media Worx and of course Saint Mesiah, who’s debut single “So Pretty Brown” is a hit. I’m certainly looking forward to hearing the next one, accompanied by such cool video. It was a pleasure to be a part of.
